Warranty

At repairsy. we offer a 6 months warranty as standard with every repair that we carry out. Our warranty applies to the part(s) replaced, and the workmanship of our staff. The warranty becomes void for liquid damaged devices, or if the device has been physically/cosmetically damaged.

In the unlikely event that an issue occurs with your device since it has been repaired, don’t worry, we’re here to help and we have designed this warranty with you in mind.

You can claim your warranty by using the form below, or by getting in touch with a member of staff. However, before claiming your warranty we kindly ask that you follow the steps listed below which frequently resolve most post-repair issues.

Step 1: Restart your device

Turn the device off and then back on again. This seems simple but does frequently fix post-repair issues.

Step 2: Perform a hard-reset on your device

A hard-reset is, simply-put, a software reset. It is a common and simple fix for any post-repair issues and is done in under a minute. The hard-reset is possible even if you are touch-restricted and cannot access the screen.

How to perform the hard-reset depends on which device you have, so please check for your device below and follow the relevant steps. If possible, we recommend that the device's data is backed up before carrying out a hard-reset, but this is not necessary.

Apple (iOS 8 or higher)

1. Click Volume Up once

2. Click Volume Down once

3. Hold the Power key for 15 seconds or until the Apple Logo appears

Apple (iOS7 or lower)

1. Press the Power key + Volume Down key at the same time for 10 seconds or until the Apple Logo appears.

Samsung

1. Press the Power key  + Volume Down key at the same time for 15 seconds or until the Samsung Logo appears.

Step 3: Ensure the device is not liquid damaged or physically damaged

Liquid damage and/or physical damage will void the warranty. Physical damage is defined as any mishandling of the device which causes subsequent damage after the repair e.g. cracked glass, LCD faults. Similarly, if the device has been liquid damaged this will also void the warranty. Find the full details of our warranty in our Terms and Conditions.

Please read and attempt all of the three steps listed above as an invalid warranty claim which leads to a call-out may be chargeable. If you require any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact us on 0141 730 8111 and a member of staff will be happy to help.

If you have attempted these resolutions and the issue(s) persist, please make a warranty claim by getting in touch with a member of staff, or using the form below:
